The Imagine Campaign

I hope it is okay for a pastor to boast of his church, because I am compelled to do so.  I have been a pastor for 45 years (I started at age 2!) and have never in any of those years had so much fun and felt so much excitement.  The reason principally is that our church is moving!  No, we are not relocating.  As a matter of fact, we are building new buildings and renovating on this excellent site on LaFayette Road.  Our movement is spiritual.  We aren't moving as fast as we could or should and are not sure if we are doing it right, but we have decided to do something!  We are on the move, and I give our members the credit.  What a special group of people they are! In a spirit of joy and enthusiasm they have committed themselves to give and to serve with the needs of the unreached world at heart.

My boasting could go on and on.  I could tell you stories of special people who have stepped out and dedicated themselves to various ministries, of those who have done so in spite of illness and disabilities, and of others who have shocked us with special generosity.  Most of all, however, I want to boast of the reason and source of all this.  It is the richness of God's grace.  Psalm 36:8 declares "They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights."  That's it.  It is of God what we possess, and it is about God in Christ what we do.
We pray that all the churches of our area might have such a spiritual movement.  Sadly, few do, certainly at any one time. For that reason we are having members come to us from other area churches, and we receive them joyfully.  In a church that is growing and adding ministries there is room for many to serve.  I am happy to announce that we have at this time room for many others to come and join with us.  Many new families are moving to our area and many of them are coming to join with us also. Life is precious, and time is short for all of us.  Let us get moving!  Let us worship in joy, serve in faith, give in love, and live in the blessed hope of glory.  Please contact us if we may be of support to you or share our ministry with you.
                                                    Peace and blessings to you,
                                                    John Wyatt

Dr. John Wyatt and wife, Linda
Welcome to this virtual visit, we hope it will lead to an actual visit soon.  It is important that you find the church of God's leading so that you may serve Him most effectively.  We would like to be that church, and hope our website is as candid and informative as possible.

Our staff members will share with you their work and what they are doing.  They invite you to contact them with any questions you may have.  Although we have many senior saints among us, we have made preschool and children's ministries our number one priority.  We will soon be renovating our preschool building along with other modifications and additions.

If you click "From the Pastor" and "About Our Church" on the Main Menu, I will explain to you our core values, how to join our church, and some of the distinctives of our church and ministry.  Enjoy your visit, call us if we can assist you, and come to see us soon.
